As CEO, I work with the Laridae team to drive the future growth of the company and the continued delivery of great solutions for organizations across Ontario. In addition, consulting with Laridae allows me to offer my experience in the non-profit sector in addressing strategic planning, project management and governance concerns with our clients. In addition to the above, supporting communications efforts and addressing sustainability are key areas of strength.At Laridae, our mission is to solve the non-profit and public sector’s toughest challenges; help leaders implement change that lasts; and support organizational resiliency and sustainability so our clients can soar. Laridae works only with non-profit organizations, including charities, public sector agencies, and associations offering strategic, operational and communications planning, change management for non-profit and public sector organizations in Canada. To date it has over 150 clients across Ontario and Canada. In 2018, we became a certified B Corp.

As a Co Owner I was responsible for the business administration, managing the Boutique, coordinating the Studio activities, and communciations/marketing.Glow Maternity was a multi-faceted small business that offers support to expecting and new families. Through our Boutique we offered innovative, essential, and unique products supporting pregnancy, birth, and young families. We offered a range of resource based sessions in our beautiful Loft Studio that range from prenatal classes, yoga, and and workshops. Glow Maternity also offered a range of services that include Labour and Postpartum Doula support, massage therapy, and much more.

Led GPIC to attract talent, innovation and investments that can be leveraged to commercialize, build businesses and jobs in the Peterborough region (and surrounding areas). Develop and execute strategic plans and budgets, including generating new revenue streams. Build and maintain key partnerships with industry, academia, and government. Manage projects and programs that ensure effective client services, company start-ups, and research commercialization. Lead a dynamic team in meeting the corporate mandate. Liaise with Board of Directors and engage the community in driving a regional innovation economy.

Bridging science and business by facilitating talent, innovation, and investment to drive a thriving regional economy. Develop and execute strategic plans and budgets, including generating new revenue streams. Build and maintain key partnerships with industry, academia, and government. Manage projects and programs that ensure effective client services, company start-ups, and research commercialization. Lead a dynamic team in meeting the corporate mandate. Liaise with Board of Directors and engage the community in driving a regional innovation economy.

Launch and maintain a corporate membership program, resulting in $80,000 new revenue within first year. Coordinate all key projects including feasibility studies, grant applications, and industry-academic collaborative research initiatives. Organize and execute communications and marketing efforts including developing website, newsletters, regular stakeholder communications. Support Board of Director activities.

Coordinate educational agriculture programs in schools across Northern Ontario, engage farmers in marketing initiatives, manage membership program and support Board of Directors, assist with lobbying initiatives.
