I have been promoted in my new role. I use this working relationship to drive requirements and implement new privacy compliant solutions for our clients.

My new role is architecting privacy compliant processes to ingest client online and offline data sources into an anonymous Hadoop environment.* Basic Hadoop data storage and table concepts* Using Hue open source UI and tools* Using Basic HQL to query and audit data as it's ingested into the environment.* Acxiom Data Privacy Certification - instruct clients on how to protect the consumer and their brand by keeping their customer data anonymous* Providing data diagrams and documentation for compliance audits* Training clients on the basics of navigating Hue* Administer User access for Hue, Tableau Server, Remote Desktop, RDWeb, Citrix* Understanding of SFTP and Sterling File Gateway for file transfer and routing* Daily Auditing of data sourcesI work directly with IT Operations, Hadoop Admins and the development team. As part of the team using the MAE product, I test and provide requirements for the ingestion, extraction, and audit processes.

I am taking on a new Project Management role working with a team where my leaders are now based in California. I'm sure my role will evolve, but for now I've been asked to be the Scrum Master; leading projects, writing documentation and representing the team across organizations within the company.

Same role, new job title that better describes the work that my team is doing. We're repositioning into an operations role and doing more tools automation and technical consulting.

Over the last couple of years I've been gaining knowledge in the transactional processing space. I've picked up a lot of knowledge on Operational requirements for supporting and integrating clients on real-time systems. Documentation, documentation, documentation... I've definitely been refining my documentation skills from writing administrative procedural guides to using Six Sigma templates to write operational requirements.
