In this role, I am responsible for creating and implementing Hillel-hosted social events that strengthen the Hillel and external community. I serve as the Board's point person for all things Israel, inspiring students to participate in Taglit-Birthright or Onward through promotional, recruitment, orientation, and follow-up activities, and integrating Birthright/Onward awareness in other Hillel activities. Additionally, I collaborate with the Hillel Israel fellow on developing and implementing Israel education and involvement on campus. I promote and plan additional Hillel-hosted Israel-related programs each semester, such as cultural events, Israeli films, speakers, and Israel Independence Day celebrations. Finally, as Israel Chair, I work closely with the Israel Fellow to plan events and keeps the community updated on Israel education and event opportunities.
