I am currently working in a position as a PSR (Clinical Pharmacy Technician II), I work directly with patients within a three-way alpha split where I set up delivery and medication dispenses based upon their therapy needs, which includes Chemotherapy/Rheumatoid Arthritis/Inflammatory bowel diseases on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis etc., I provide IV/IG and or TPN therapy needs of patients receiving at home care, in need of medication and supplies via IV therapy.

I maintain and keep track of specific supply needs for each patient with the help of nursing, keep track of their insurance authorizations, refills etc., preventing any delays in their therapy to help maintain the best standard of care for the patients.

I was responsible for taking the temperature of each employee who entered the facility, I had to keep the average range for temperatures for every 10 people who entered, I also had to set up PPE displays along with disinfecting and sanitizing common areas. If an employee displayed two or more symptoms I personally had to escort them to nursing Keeping a safe distance and making sure that they didn’t have contact with any other employees.
