Duties include taking death calls on the phone, being on call, going to facilities, homes, and Medical Examiner offices across the state to pick up the deceased.Embalming, dressing, cosmetizing, casketing, running a funeral. Meeting with a family to plan the funeral.Crematory Manager, training all staff on the new retort that was installed. Ordering all supplies for the crematory area. Cremations, and filling urns and jewelry.Facilities/Project Manager-making sure that any maintenance issues are taken care of in a timely manner and kept on schedule. This includes out sourcing contractors for bigger projects, such as parking lot lights, or car port incidents. Coordinating all of the contractors for the out/install for the new crematory. This project included finding heavy machine equipment, electricians, masons, gas companies, and the company that built the machine. Ordering all supplies for the entire building. Embalming, crematory, paper, banquet, office, and everything else. Scheduling for all of the building on Google Sheets, keeping everyone on task. Who is working which funeral, cleaning, preplanning, etc. I am also in charge of setting up all new electronics at the office and keeping them up to date. This includes wifi, TVs. Ipads, laptops, desktops, fax machines, copiers, and equipment that families bring in for us to run during a funeral. Quarterly and End Of Year Inventory of Merchandise such as Caskets and Urns

Opening and closing the store. Counting the tills and making the daily deposits. Checking to see if the daily deposits match with last years or what the goal needs to be for the team to reach. Setting expectations for the team to stay on task for the ever changing plan o grams, per season. Interviews, disciplinary actions, hiring, firing. Emails from customers, buyers, and other management teams. Daily cycle counts. End of year Inventory for several stores Receiving inventory and adding or deleting barcodes/sku when needed.
