I am an LNI trained claims manger who stood out from the pack by applying critical thinking, best practices, open communication lines, aggressive claims management and attention to detail. After 10 years working for Washington State Labor and Industries, the Vice President of a local third party company, who represented employers, recognized my abilities and I started my Retro workers compensation career. I then managed self insurance claims for about 3 years, saving one client just under 1 million dollars. I currently work for Smokey Point Distributing, a former Retro client, who felt their firm was better suited, financially, with my style of claims management. They were right. I have included new skills while working for SPD. I manage all of the employment security claims, nationwide. I manage out of State claims to include: Ohio, Texas, California, Kansas, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Pennsylvania. I do all of the OSHA and BLS tracking and reporting.I love working in work compensation and I have repeatedly proven I am highly successful in this field. I respect integrity, honesty and hard work. I expect the State to do right by employers, their clients. If not, then we engage. I have been dubbed “The Junk Yard Dog" by a former employer.
