A 6-week driver training program for new Amazon Transportation Associates. Within the 6-week program, associates complete all the required policy’s, classroom training and on the job training within the yard. Within the program I also teach the Smith System defensive driving class, obtainment of a CDL permit, and a hostler certification.Developed the classroom layout audit policy that is a network wide standard.Made a swag purchase process that is a network standard for each Nodal on-boarding Academy location in the world.

CDL Class A certified tractor trailer driver. No touch freight, drop and hook loads. In-yard operations include efficiently check-in/out tractor trailers with no defects.Kept a constant flow of outbound loads, making sure they exited the yard by the appropriate times.Consistently tracked loads using yard and personnel resources to expedite drivers out of the yard, delegating as needed.Aided in developing a working system for checking out vehicles during high volume/critical pull times that increased the accuracy and efficiency of getting the loads checked out safely, properly and on time.Safely and efficiently moved trailers in the yard using a hostler vehicle.Properly perform pre/post trip inspections throughout my shift.

Unloading trailers with PIT machines making sure the product is out on time.Checking in, receiving, and auditing pallets to make sure they are sent to the correct spot.Problem Solving the Inbound Dock to make sure everything was running smoothly.Communicates effectively with other coworkers to make sure we are all getting our work completed

Managed that the children were safe and taken care of at all times. Trained and mentored my associates to be responsible for the children getting their homework done, having snack and their parents were picking them up on time. I was attentive, always put the children first and it taught me how to always be ready in-case of an emergency. To resolve something fast as possible
