CurrentServes as the Goods Movement and Integration for Strike Division Global Supply Chain. Responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support the program, with a focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety, and first-time quality targets. Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain organization. • Responsible for the direct supervision of both salaried exempt and non-exempt employees• Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines and general policies• Advises Leadership on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed• Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement.• Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations• Directs team activities associated with program transportation, storage, and material handling requirements, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.• Supports the development of program packaging and transportation plans for all Aeronautics domestic and international deliveries. Including containers, crates, Parts Protection Devices, Material Handling Devices, transportation fixtures, and tools.
