As a Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Implementer, I act as a behavioral development professional who studies how the environment impacts behavior to help clients overcome a range of mental and social challenges. Specializing on individuals with Autism and other developmental issues, I provide therapy either in clinical, school or home settings. I work with autistic children and other patients with developmental issues, either in a clinical setting or in the patient's home. By implementing positive reinforcement techniques, using specialized techniques that may include reward systems, incidental teaching, pivotal response training and/or milieu therapy, learned behaviors can allow these clients to succeed. I am attending Lindenwood University to pursue my Masters in Professional Counseling, and hope to integrate my experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis towards my future mental health career and specialities.
