During my four years in Milledgeville, I was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity where I held the position of senior/alumni chair, as well as being involved in many volunteer opportunities, including: Zeta Tau Alpha Pink Out 5k Race Benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness and Education, The Boys and Girls Club of Milledgeville Easter Bunny Hop, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Sequins and Smiles, and many more. I'm also currently a free lance artist and painter on commission. When I have the time, I enjoy painting canvases and drawing with an emphasis in typography and penmanship. Recently I have completed gifts for weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc. Along with painting canvases, I have also completed in home wall painting. I have future plans to obtain my Masters of Social Work from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia beginning in the Fall of 2013. Following the completion of my Master's degree, I plan to begin a career in the field of Social Work in the Greater Atlanta Area where I can apply my passion to build and improve communities by working with children and families.
