I have been working for the Givens Estates in the grounds department for 3 years and 2 years as the landscape crew lead. As the Landscape Crew Lead, I am committed to working closely with residents to address their landscaping needs and enhance the beauty of their surroundings. My responsibilities include overseeing the renovation of properties and managing the planting of hundreds of annuals each spring and fall, ensuring that our landscapes remain vibrant and well-maintained throughout the year.In my role, I also handle small construction projects and contribute to landscape design, integrating functionality with aesthetic appeal. Additionally, I share the responsibility of maintaining 84 developed acres, which involves routine upkeep, stonework projects, and the implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to promote sustainable and healthy landscapes.A key aspect of my role is the ongoing training and development of team members. I ensure that our crew is well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality landscape care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
