Dr. Abramson represented medical technology and life sciences clients ranging from large, publicly traded companies to emerging start-ups. Her patent law practice included patent prosecution, developing, analyzing, and managing large worldwide patent portfolios, freedom-to-operate opinions, due diligence analysis, and patentability opinions for various technologies. Dr. Abramson frequently visited and interacted with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to foster a proactive approach to prosecuting patent applications.Dr. Abramson was responsible for creating and implementing Greenberg Traurig's Patent Agent Track, a program designed to foster career growth and development for the firm’s current and future Patent Agents. This program provides a clear path and opportunity for Patent Agents to advance up the law firm's advancement ladder. Dr. Abramson became the first Patent Agent promoted to Assistant Director, which is the counterpart to the typical law firm Of Counsel position.
