I am responsible for leading cushioning innovation programs from concept to commercialization based on Category Footwear performance needs. I am also responsible for innovation of new footwear cushioning systems through investigation and application of new materials, processes and technologies.

Assisted in product development relating to bioaerosol sensing, aerosol sampling, and electronics cooling. Involved in all stages of prototype development: writing of proposals, design, fabrication, and testing. Examples of products developed include: micropump, heatsink, aerosol/hydrosol concentrator, and rheometer. Responsible for management of projects involving aerosol technologies and for all computational fluid dynamics.

Assisted in research project dealing with improving the design and performance of artificial limbs for lower-limb amputees by studying the shear stresses and pressures at prosthetic interface. Responsbilities included testing, design and fabrication of test equipment, data collection using LABVIEW, and analysis using Matlab.
