This job was only for a summer employment. I provided excellent customer service. I greeted patrons once they were seated and presented the menus and explained the items on the menu. I answered questions from the patrons about food and beverages. Shared any information the customers needed about the status of their orders. I verified that the customers were satisfied with their orders as well. There were also sales duties and operation duties that I had to perform. These include, taking food and drink orders, up-selling additional food and beverage products, communicating customer orders to the kitchen staff, and ensuring that the customer orders are assemble properly by the kitchen. I also delivered the orders, removed any empty plates and utensils from the tables, attended scheduled shift meetings, and trained new food servers.
