IT Fundamentals - Learned to identify and explain basic computer components, set up a basic workstation, conduct basic software installation, establish basic network connectivity, identify compatibility issues, and identify/prevent basic security risks. Information and Communication Technology Essentials - Mastered computer hardware and software skills needed to meet growing demand for entry-level ICT professional. Focused on the fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an ICT professional. Business Information Systems - Through teamwork and hands-on exercises, I learned about the role of information systems in business. We focused on databases, business intelligence, enterprise resource planning systems, cloud computing, networking, security, e-commerce, ethics, and competitive advantage using these information systems.Skills I've obtained so far: Basic computer science technologies and methods, such as computer hardware and software, structured programming, operating system concepts, communications and social impacts of computer technology. Programming Concepts and Methodology, obtained the discipline of computer science using a high level programming language and practical hands-on problem solving. Volunteer Experience:FireWise USA, March 2019 - PresentSet up, chaired and received certification and re-certification of a local FireWise USA community. Responsible for setting up clean-up days in my community, getting resources for the community to harden their properties against wildfire.
