As a member of the People Team transformation effort at Visa, I led a cross-functional project team of HR, recruiting, and systems professionals in efforts to accelerate Visa’s people processes with a focus on internal role definition and workforce planning.

Led the People Operations (Human Resources) function and strategy, including total rewards, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.

Consulted and partnered with test site leadership in identifying and creating people solutions, including recruiting & onboarding, compensation & total rewards, people analytics, employee development, and employee relations.

Responsible for employee recruitment, screening and evaluating applicants, new-hire processing and orientation, benefits administration, maintaining personnel records, payroll, regulatory compliance, and other human resources-related functions.

Assisted the SpaceX Texas Talent Acquisition team with recruiting projects, outreach efforts, communication and networking, and generating a pipeline of qualified prospects for current and future career opportunities. Responsibilities included creating and maintaining job postings and campaigns, assisting with the development and implementation of hiring strategies, and scheduling and coordinating recruiting functions.

Recruited prospective new students on behalf of Baylor University via telephone and email campaigns and assisted incoming students with the application and admissions processes.Part-time work while a full-time student.
