I assist in recruiting first year associates and summer interns to McKinsey, specifically to our Chicago office and focusing the majority of my time on BA candidates. Previously at McKinsey, I led Midwest recruiting for all candidates obtaining an advanced professional degree including PhDs, post-docs, MDs, JDs, and non-MBA Masters candidates.

- Work with Primary Recruiting Managers to track hiring and training budgets for summer and winter intern programs, as well as fulltime campus hires for Audit, Tax and Advisory practices- Plan and execute all summer and winter intern programs for approximately 80 summer interns and 50 winter interns per season- Manage and execute all second round interview program logistics including securing interviewers for 50-80 candidates, hotel and travel accommodations, identifying panelists, processing expense reimbursements and creating full agendas for all local office programs - Work with and develop relationships with partners, managers, and staff level professionals for all in office recruiting programs at KPMG Chicago- Collaborate with Campus Development Mangers and internal branding team to create internal and external marketing materials - Manage campus recruiting activities at Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University which includes facilitating presentations, working with career center professionals, and developing relationships with student groups and faculty to identify qualified candidates for internship opportunities- Assist with recruiting at premier and locally important schools including DePaul University, University of Illinois, Northern Illinois University, UIC, and Loyola by attending career fairs and events sponsored by student organizations- Promoted to Associate Recruiter after two years in Lead Campus Recruiting Role

- Work with Primary Recruiter on office budgets and event calendar- Responsible for office event planning, detail coordination and execution by working with internal operations employees, resource managers, and internal events and meetings personnel - Maintain candidate files- Input and update all candidates through candidate tracking system (URMS)- Process offer letters for all intern and fulltime candidates- Coordinate all candidate and KPMG Team correspondence including all letters, invitations, recruiting packages, and advertisements- Research and resolve candidate expense reimbursement, payroll and bonus processing issues- Prepare event and program invoices for appropriate signature approval and ensure timely invoice processing

- Performed general administrative duties including answering multi-line telephone, correspondence, making copies, faxing and filing documents- Identified and recruited prospective candidates for Direct Hire, Temporary, and Temp-To-Hire positions, booking at least 10 new candidates per week- Responsible for checking references on all new candidates interviewing with our firm- Analyzed company needs and take customer orders, document orders in the system, conduct appropriate candidate searches, present candidates to clients, schedule interviews, and follow up on interviews.- Established communication and work as primary contact between Career Centers of area colleges and company, so we may used as a resource for recent college graduates

- Assisted with the event planning of the America's River Festival that took place June 9-11, 2006- Made contacts with various vendors, sponsors, and media outlets while preparing for the event- Wrote letters, assisted with sponsorship fulfillment, and scheduled staff and volunteer workers for entire event

- Set up and conducted interviews, took photographs, traveled to special events, and wrote news stories for a weekly publication- Assisted in design layouts using Quark software- Authored continuous column in the publication- Attended staff meetings and was exposed to how a weekly publication operated and what made it successful
