I oversee academic advising and retention initiatives for the Geauga Campus and Twinsburg Academic Center. In this role, I supervise a team of five across two locations to ensure that students receive accurate and intentional advising and academic support services. In addition to a four person Academic Advising team, I supervise the Coordinator of Academic Services who provides Student Accessibility Services and Tutoring access to students at both locations.

I offer academic advising to our wine degrees and hospitality management student. Additionally, I offer administrative support for the wine degrees programs at Kent State University at Ashtabula and oversee programming for our probation students.

Ashtabula, Oh

I oversee the Tutoring Center at Kent State University at Ashtabula; provide classroom instruction in the areas of time management, study strategies, and test taking strategies; and coach students in finding school/work/life balance. I have designed several online courses, including a program for students on Academic Probation. My strengths are cross departmental collaboration, project management, and strategic planning.

In this capacity I taught the freshman orientation and study strategies courses.

Geauga, Twinsburg, Kent, And Ashtabula Campuses

In this capacity I taught the introduction to theatre course. I also substituted for theatre literature and criticism courses while the instructor on record was on maternity leave.

I worked with the Costume Shop Manager to ensure the consistency of the costume designer's vision throughout a production's run. I worked on each production in the Syracuse Stage season. For each production, I planned and implemented quick changes; managed dressing staff as needed; and maintained, cleaned, and repaired costumes.
