I have had many years of experience in the service sector, whether that was as a waitress or the years I have been at my current employment locations.I have learned how to serve others, handle high volumes of people, spot potential risks, and take the necessary steps to dissipate them.Through experience in retail, I have learned to multitask while ensuring a compelling and well-done piece of work. I still experience moments where multitasking has pressed my limits, but I am always willing to learn new methods to offer my services effectively and at their total capacity. I have been a waitress and a stock associate in the past, and these positions have been fundamental in exposing me to the service industry and the world of retail. I have learned how to handle cash, prioritize tasks, and assist clientele and customers.As a Recreation Student, I aspire to be innovative and inclusive in my program planning, activity coordination, and implementation. I want to ensure that people I interact with have the opportunity to engage in whatever programs I develop, regardless of ability, age, functioning, and more. Activities should be for everyone, and I want to reflect that in my program planning and implementation as a student and in my professional career.
