I worked as an intern in this lovely micro-office, gaining experience in great versatility of scale and program. I received great exposure into the entirety of a project's given process as I saw many through to the end in my short period at this office. The small team decorum meant each persons input was vital and necessary, allowing me to become a strong voice within group collaborations and a confident individual when working independently.

As a first experience in the professional world of architecture, I was exposed to a high functioning, large office that provided such an ecclecticism of language, perspectives and design strategies. It was a successful and insightful opportunity where I was placed outside of my comfort zone in order to grow into the young professional I am today. Many of my skills were put to the test as their projects required wide ranging programs and their large scales required incredible attention to detail.

This venture was initiated with a friend who was skilled in Business while I provided the design abilities. Together, we realized we could form a company to fulfill our entrepreneurial and creative ambitions. Being that the monetary gain was not our main objective in launching this apparel company, we made it a non-for-profit where each month, our sales would be donated to relevant charities that we felt needed it the most. Overall, it was a positive experience which taught me the valuable lesson that there is no age or accreditation required to making a difference- There is no one path to success, however you define it.
