Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; I now call the southern Adirondacks home. I received my undergraduate degree from CUNY College of Staten Island in 2010 and my DVM degree from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. I completed my clinical education at Michigan State University in 2014.Before becoming a veterinarian I spent eight years as a veterinary technician in both private practice and shelter medicine. I have a special interested in animal behavior, internal medicine and ultrasound.At home, I have a large furry family including three rescue dogs who go pretty much everywhere with me (Dottie, Goose, and Dean) as well as 3 rescue cats (Jackson, Quinn and CJ). I currently am also fostering a chihuahua (Peggy).In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, concerts and going to other live shows with my husband and our dogs. I love spending time with family and enjoying what Mother Nature has to offer. I am also a certified dog trainer and love helping owners work through issues both medical and behavioral with their canine and feline companions.
