As Contract Administration Manager, I work closely with Legal in order to update the templates for the Vallourec Sourcing team across North America to utilize when establishing contracts with suppliers. I also assist the team with reviewing redlines and preparing responses when negotiating the terms of the contracts. Lastly, I help with the management of the contracts to ensure that suppliers are charging the correct prices, meeting the required timeline and ensuring that all contract changes/adjustments are tracked to enable a quick and easy closure at the end of the contract term.

In addition to my Technical Buyer position, I was also given the opportunity to become Contract Closeout Coordinator for the FQM Mill in order to close the remaining 82 contacts related to the project. This position consists of working with an audit team in order to determine if any suppliers that were under contract for the FQM Mill did not follow their agreed upon contract terms during the project. My team and I look at the contract from all aspects including late deliveries, non-conformances, in depth invoice reviews, and if the supplier provided equipment/services that did not meet their specification. This position requires me to work very closely with other departments within Vallourec Star, LP in order to complete the reviews including engineering, maintenance, and controlling.

I was project lead on an array of different projects across the FE fleet. I manage the schedule, budget, items purchased and contractors used for all of my projects working with FE supply chain and FE accounting groups. I also work with AE firms, plant personnel and other various groups within FE in order to complete my projects effectively. I have also assisted other engineers on their projects as well.

While in this position, I had various responsibilities such as troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, safety and some design engineering. Every job I completed was structured toward equipment health, maintenance and improvements throughout the Plant.

I completed tests on various types of equipment in the plant to ensure that the equipment was working properly. Some of the tests I performed during my time in this group include, but are not limited to, condenser hydros, condenser helium leak checks, mill tests, robocops, boiler tests and vacuum pump tests.
