Environmental Program Development• Assist with the implementation of ISO 14001.• Responsible for the development of an Environmental Emergency Plan as per SOR/2003-307.• Responsible for implementing the requirements of the Excess Soil Regulation (O.Reg. 406/19).• Responsible for the development of a Leak Detection and Repair program as per the Petrochemical Industry Standard.Regulatory Compliance• Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Multi-Sector Air Pollutant Regulation as per SOR/2016-151.• Responsible for completing the annual National Pollutant Release Inventory report.• Responsible for completing the annual National Emissions Reduction Masterplan report.• Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Petrochemical Industry Standard including managing a leak detection and repair program, property line monitoring program, industrial sewage monitoring program, product loading, storage vessels, complaints, and emergency management.• Responsible for completing the annual Greenhouse Gas audit and report.• Responsible for maintaining compliance with Site’s Environmental Compliance Approvals.Project Management• Responsible for planning the environmental aspects of 2022 unit outage.Communication• Regular communication with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.• Regular communication with the Environment and Climate Change Canada.• Regular communication with First Nations.Continual Improvement • Complete regular training for employees on environmental-related topics.• Regular updating of environment-related procedures.• Complete quarterly audit of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.• Complete annual Corporate GRI Sustainability report. • Lead and support incident investigations relating to the environment.
