• Management of General Ledger - Responsible for all financial record keeping, cash management, cash flow, bank deposits and bank reconciliation• Manage month end closing cycle in accordance with GAAP. • Prepare all month end entries and financial reports, and year end reports for accountants• Management of Accounts Payable – Full cycle of payables from approval of invoices received, entry to accounting records, and processing of payments; authorized cheque signer; management of corporate credit cards• Management of Accounts Receivable – Full cycle of receivables from creating invoices, sending statements monthly to customers, application of payments to appropriate invoices and follow up with customers• Administration of Payroll – processing payroll semi-monthly; preparation of General Ledger entries related to payroll; ensuring legislative compliance.• Management of Government Remittances - Monthly reconciliation and filing of WSIB, HST, EHT and Source Deductions and preparation of associated journal entries• Liaise with the bank to manage loans, line of credit and foreign currency exchange• Main contact between company and IT management firm, in charge of all technology acquisitions – software and hardware.
