With over 7 years of experience in the education field, I am a dedicated and innovative English teacher who strives to inspire and empower my students to achieve their academic and personal goals. I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am also a team leader, a department chair, a blended learning teacher trainer, and a model classroom teacher at Judson ISD, where I collaborate with my colleagues to create and implement engaging and effective learning experiences for our diverse student population.In my current role as a 7th grade English/Language Arts teacher, I design and deliver rigorous and relevant curriculum that aligns with the state standards and the district's vision. I use a variety of instructional strategies, such as project-based learning, cooperative learning, and differentiation, to meet the needs and interests of my students. I also leverage technology and online platforms, such as Google Classroom, Edmodo, and Kahoot, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. I have successfully increased student achievement and growth by 15% in the last two years, as measured by standardized tests and formative assessments. Additionally, I mentor and coach other teachers in using blended learning models and best practices in their classrooms, and I participate in the Judson Leadership Institute, a selective program that prepares aspiring leaders for future roles in the district.
