Danielle Wright: visionary in the opera world, is Founder/Artistic Director of Opera MODO. With MODO, Danielle has revolutionized opera, presenting captivating renditions of classic/contemporary works since 2011; creating a community where emerging artists grow artistically/gain vital experience. Xey've graced stages across the US/internationally, yet not content to simply perform, they've championed the importance of artist-led initiatives by forging meaningful partnerships with institutions such as the DIA/DSO. They’re a featured instructor for Interlochen with a new course debuting Feb '04.

Danielle Wright, Executive Director/Founder, founded Opera MODO to fill the need for emerging artists who are done with school and seeking opportunities to develop artistically and gain stage experience. The word modo in Italian means opportunity. Though the company was officially formed in 2011, Ms. Wright had produced 7 fully staged operas before giving Opera MODO its formal name and direction. She loves to watch people grow and flourish. Ms. Wright made her mainstage operatic debut in 2010 with Des Moines Metro Opera, and is an active performer across the United States.
