Danielle Adrianna Davis is a highly experienced attorney with expertise in technology and telecommunications law, policy development, and civil rights advocacy. She is currently the Director of Technology Policy at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies - America's Black Think Tank - where she leads the organization's Technology program that focuses on broadband affordability and access, content moderation, and privacy issues. Prior to her current role, Danielle served as an Assistant General Counsel at Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), where she provided counsel on the administration of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and the USF Lifeline Program. Furthermore, Danielle served as a Tech and Telecom Policy Counsel at Multicultural, Media, Telecom, and Internet Council, where she provided counsel on tech/telecom issues to leadership, managed the fellowship program, reviewed outgoing communications, and drafted/edited comments to the FCC and NTIA. She has also served as a Tech and Telecom Policy Fellow at National Urban League Washington Bureau, where she advised senior management on tech and telecom issues, collaborated with cross-functional teams and projects, and drafted U.S. congressional testimony, policy recommendations, comments, letters, and digital outreach materials.In addition, Danielle has served as a Staff Counsel/Earl K. Moore Fellow at Multicultural, Media, Telecom, and Internet Council, where she drafted white papers, comments, ex parte letters, and produced a white paper on facial recognition technology. She has also worked as an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of David Honig and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Marc Lubet at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.Danielle holds a Juris Doctor degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, a Bachelor of Science in General Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated cum laude. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Danielle is a skilled writer and editor, having served as Editor-in-Chief of Southern Journal of Policy and Justice and as Senior Editor of Barry Law Review during her time in law school.
