I have an AAS from Harrington College of Design focusing on Interior Design. Since graduating, I have worked for a small design firm spotlighting residential interior design, as well as larger corporations in the residential design field.I realized my passion while working for the nation’s largest children’s after school theatre program, Christian Youth Theater (CYT). Within that organization, I have worked as choreographer for full length musical productions. In addition, I have been fulfilling roles such as lighting and special effects creation and design, hair and makeup designs, as well as costume selections. I have also assisted with a semi-professional local Improv group, named GreenRoom Productions, assisting in backstage transitions for musicals and helping with Improv shows and lobby facilitations. In addition, I have recently assisted with an up and coming children’s theater group, Children’s Community Theatre, experiencing more of the behind the scenes and technical sides of production.I am looking to expand my knowledge by fueling my drive with the passion inside me. I yearn to know more about theater, its design and potentials in any way possible. It has been a goal of mine to work in theater, either design and planning, or the technical and management side, for quite some time.
