I am currently a student majoring in Public Relations at California State University Long Beach. What drew me to PR was its range and versatility, that can allow me to work in a number of industries that I enjoy. I’d love to continue to build my strong writing skills, as well as focus on the social media and event planning aspects of PR. I have always enjoyed the aesthetics that come with social media pages and posts, and I would love to build a brand up and boost engagement. I’ve also always been very meticulous about little details and have strong time management skills, so I’d love to be able to plan a variety of PR events.Besides my major, I have a passion for music. I grew up playing a number of instruments, playing in bands, and working as stage crew to build sets for live music. Though I have lost some of the technical skills regarding instruments, I have maintained a love for music performances, and the work that goes behind producing and performing. I also have a strong interest in skincare, food, fashion/apparel, and film.I recently joined PRSSA and am looking to gain experience in the PR field. I am hoping to be more actively involved in the club and pick up a PR internship soon.
