Having built the products, strategy, and team that drove The Ellen DeGeneres Show to the top rank of all digital media brands and branded content creators, I lead the creative team behind Ellen’s original games, social media strategy and content, our owned and operated site and app ellentube, and our original digital content. I develop, and execute new top of funnel products like subscription models, original brand verticals, and original content slates for long-form and podcasts. I also built and launched Warner Bros’ first internal diversity and inclusion council for the Ellen brand.

Leading a creative team across product, social media, original content and games, I was responsible for a cohesive and well-mapped user experience for Ellen’s broad fanbase. I cultivated new revenue streams with partners like Facebook, Twitter, Snap and YouTube, as well as building out the creative strategy for a podcast business, and award-winning brand integrations.

Having grown the digital division into its own business, I sourced and staffed an empowered and diverse creative team in three distinct areas, our games division, our in-house digital production team, and our new owned and operated site, ellentube. All of these divisions bloomed prolific content for organic traffic and brand integration opportunities. At the creative helm of ellentube, I was responsible for maximizing views across a variety of content, representing and serving a host of key stake holders, divining outlier successes, and strategizing a mobile vs desktop experience.

When I moved into the digital space of the Ellen DeGeneres Show my first task was to write content for Ellen’s social media content, grow her digital audience without affecting her established linear viewers by extending her content to new platforms, and optimizing it for consumption. I established the show social presence as a record breaker, headline maker, that topped the charts on all platforms. I was then responsible for crafting and feeding the flywheel between her website, TV show, and social presence, utilizing each to support the others. It was also during this time that I created and launched her hit app game, Heads Up!

For the #1 talk show in the world, I created comedy for our host Ellen DeGeneres, which included writing monologues, inventing games for her to play with celebrities, and crafting comedy pieces based on topical cultural events that always led with kindness and inclusion for a broad, family audience. I also worked closely with the brand integration team to create custom creative for top-tier brands.
