Honored to have served as Interim Director for the LGBT Center at Case Western Reserve. During my tenure in this role, I was charged with the supervision of eleven employees, daily LGBT center initiatives, SafeZone presentations, and the planning of Lavender Graduation. My time in this role occurred during the initial COVID-19 shutdown months in which I successfully moved all LGBT services and groups online, transitioned my 150-person Human Development course online, and developed a month-long series of online educational events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This unique time encouraged me to understand how to be truly adaptive in the classroom, how to juggle multiple demanding academic roles, and how to further advocate for the safety and well-being of my students and colleagues in the process.

Social determinants of health and health behavior, and delivery of health care. Considerable attention is given to understanding health careers and professions and their role in the health of societies and individuals.- Social Research Methods || This course provides an introduction to social statistics, including univariate statistics and bivariate tests of association (chi-square, ttest, ANOVA, correlation, regression). Topics include: levels of measurement, probability theory and inference; hypothesis testing; and statistical power. - Gender Inequalities & Globalization || Using a sociological perspective, this course examines how major societal institutions, including the economy, polity, medicine, religion, education and family, are structured to reproduce gendered inequalities across the globe.

As the Survivor Advocate for Gender Violence Prevention and Response, I am responsible for advocating for Case Western Reserve University students who are victims of gender-based violence (GBV). As the Survivor Advocate, I am specifically responsible for providing crisis management response and stabilization, therapeutic support, assistance with navigating options and services on campus and in the community; collaborating with health care providers; delivering educational programs to raise awareness of sexual violence as a serious public health issue; and serve as the central point on campus to provide programming on healthy relationships.
