I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a business degree in Marketing with a collateral in International Business. I have always been able to find the best solution to a problem and being a strategic thinker is one of my strengths. In my previous position as a childcare provider to different families, I always communicated well with the children and parents that I provided care to as well as developed meaningful interpersonal skills. Through this position, I learned how to communicate through conflict and create a positive and inclusive environment. I continue to expand my strengths as a student by improving communication and problem solving which can be seen through my academic work as I pursue my degree.As I further my career in business I hope to utilize my strengths to help me get a job in the marketing field. With two of my main strengths being competition and creativity, I look forward to pursuing a career where I can gain experience as a leader and connect with customers. I’m interested in marketing in pharmaceuticals because it is a dynamic field where I could apply my strengths to succeed and because it's a versatile field that is always changing and helps many people. The prospect of product launch planning is very exciting to me, and I aspire to become a leader in the field and contribute to the advancement of medicine.
