Accident and Health division - As the assistant vice-president of the underwriting department I was responsible for the overall profitability of the 84 million block of business which ran consistently in the low 80s.I was also responsible for large renewals and block of business for profitability and client’s satisfaction and for underwriting training of 8 underwriters across Canada in both languages.I provided leadership in product development unit to ensure product integrity and enhancement.
