Whatt (www.whatt.eu ) is currently at the forefront of my professional life. I refer to myself as a Cooperative Promoter because this title fits the purpose: stimulate cooperative entrepreneurship in Belgium, and develop real estate projects in Brussels. Since the end of 2013 I feel a true Project Ambassador of the non-profit organisation DoucheFLUX (www.doucheflux.be ). Until DoucheFLUX reaches its ultimate goal of eradicating homelessness in Brussels, I remain an ambassador for their work. The word Ambassador also refers to the diplomatic missions that I used to work for.My personal values are #diversity, #continuity, #autonomy and #transparency. Not coincidentally, these are the same values as in Whatt's project (https://www.whatt.eu/en/impact), and largely the same values as in DoucheFLUX (https://doucheflux.be/qui-sommes-nous/historique/?lang=en ).Diversity- I feel at home in the super-diversity of Brussels. I enjoy the cultural and social mix in this city.- I have a broad interest in many subjects: sociology, psychology, (#circular) economy, social entrepreneurship, #cooperative entrepreneurship, #socialinnovation, analysis, art, culture, music...- I am allergic to political pigeonholing. That is why I refer to myself as a social liberal with a green heart.- I like multinational thinking as much as local initiativesContinuity- I see relationships as a verb and as a long-term investment- I look forward to a future in which upcoming generations will be able to have a good life- I want to contribute to the solution of the climate crisis- I am a fervent supporter of the Universal Declaration of #HumanRights. In my opinion, this is the best guideline for the survival of mankind on this planet.Autonomy- I strive for independence whenever possible.- I like to form my own opinions; to instruct myself in modern technology and computer applications.Transparency- With me, “What you see is what you get!” I value openness and honesty- I have my hands full with managing both a private and a professional agenda; no hidden agendas apart from those.
