My ultimate goals involve communicating, advancing, promoting, and publishing biomedical information and research through combinations of basic science research, clinical research, scientific writing, and administrative organization. I am passionate about communicating biomedical science through writing and verbal/visual presentation between scientists, doctors, and patients. I am also passionate about uncovering new interdisciplinary connections within and outside biomedical science through communication and research. My interdisciplinary postdoctoral training can be summarized in one word, psychoneuroendocrinology. I have extensive experience with preclinical research trials. I have technical experience with many behavioral tests in mice (motor coordination, memory, anxiety, and fear) through my postdoctoral training and graduate training. I also have technical experience with biochemical techniques such as immunoblots and radioimmunoassays, as well as molecular biological techniques such as PCR and quantitative PCR. I am methodically organized in research management, data management, and scientific writing. I have had successes in grant writing and peer-review publications.
