I lead a team of data visualization designers and developers working on innovative and immersive experiences for our 20+ brands. As the team lead I have grown project output by 500% YoY (from 5 to 25 published projects), defined team strategy for working with editorial and sales teams and provided mentorship to team members leading to conference talks and new skill growth.

I lead data visualization projects across industry groups to deliver powerful data storytelling to a variety of audiences including researchers, sales teams, marketing departments, managers, executives, and the public.Responsibilities include:- Designing infographics for client and public use- Training colleagues in data visualization best practices by leading a 12 session internal course - Programming storytelling micro-sites- Creating powerpoint decks for client reports and presentations- Designing web portals for live data streams of survey results and business metrics- Creating interactive dashboards in Excel and Tableau

Prepared a 2-day data visualization workshop for masters students at the University of Pretoria. Students learned about foundational design principles, data storytelling, choosing the best chart to communicate their message, and how to improve their work through effective feedback.

I assisted the Studio Manager in all areas including maintaining the archive, creating portfolios, delivering images and purchasing supplies.

Oversaw 5 computer labs with over 200 computers, troubleshooted user issues with programs (especially the Adobe Creative Suite), and maintained supply of printer ink and paper.
