Currently responsible for strategic planning, program development, communication strategy/implementation, program expansion and project management for 8 clients and approximately 100,000 lives.

In addition to my duties as IATP coordinator, I was promoted to this role to create communication and programming consistency among our 5 satellite facilities and to streamline company-wide initiatives including product development and content marketing.I tackled the communication and programming challenges by revising our program development process, implementing Asana (project management, task and communication platform) and integrating our email and content management with Google Apps. Since the change, we've seen an increase in employee satisfaction, fewer communication issues, program quality has increased and program development time has dropped significantly.I developed our content marketing program on a shoestring budget by leveraging CoSchedule to manage and maintain the editorial calendar for our blog along with our social media efforts. I am currently managing the development of a scalable, progressive musculoskeletal injury-prevention program.

My main responsibility in this role is to coordinate an industrial wellness program (Industrial Athlete Training Program) for several Fortune 500 company satellite locations with more than 1,000 employees.Successes with this program include making major enhancements by upgrading monthly pre-shift warm-ups with enhanced slides, resulting in increased engagement, improved exercise form and a continued decrease in repetitive motion injuries (more than 26% at one location) and designing and writing the program’s first annual report. In my concurrent role as communication coordinator, my highlights include establishing several employee wellness brand advocacy programs and creating a wellness initiative on a client intranet to increase employee engagement resulting in a trending hash tag among employees (8,000+) in the second week of the program with ongoing top trending status.

I was promoted to wellness manager and directed a staff of 4 wellness coaches and a registered dietitian to provide one-on-one and group coaching programs (fitness, nutrition, wellbeing, parenting, sleep hygiene and stress management) along with wellness seminars to more than 5,000 employees.We worked with a minimal budget, but I was able to leverage assets to further reduce overall costs of the wellness program by 60% while increasing participation by 20%.Successes included increasing on-site fitness center usage by 25% and increasing average wellness program attendance by 40%.

I assisted in the opening of a new corporate fitness center in a building whose tenants included 3 Fortune 500 companies and more than 8,000 employees. Duties included administering initial health screenings, conducting one-on-one and group training sessions and programming and teaching monthly clinics and group training classes.

I trained more than 30 clients and provided wellness seminars for local businesses.

I interviewed, hired and trained fitness staff for the opening of a new club. In addition to developing curriculum and teaching weekly staff development classes resulting in 15% increase in client retention, I enhanced trainer floor hours through “Prospecting with a Purpose” to increase member involvement and club experience with special events, member contests and workshops.

I was hired as a personal trainer and was quickly promoted to personal training manager. I directly supervised the club’s fitness education manager and more than 25 personal trainers.Successes include achieving club leader and top 5 in sessions company-wide in August 2007 (110 paid training sessions).

As a part-time personal trainer, I trained more than 20 clients as well as serving as an interim fitness manager while continuing to hold my full-time jobs.

I realized my passion lay in health and wellness and so I transitioned careers by taking a position with AAPAR.In this role I collaborated with association board members (physical education faculty) to promote association activities and managed AAPAR programming for annual AAHPERD conference including coordination of proposal review selection process with Convention Planning Chair (AAPAR president-elect), program logistics and promotion.

I managed annual convention logistics, delegated on-site convention duties to 70 staff members and volunteers and maintained convention budget of $500,000+ and generated $100,000 in sponsorship revenue. I also coordinated the annual Edward R. Murrow and RTNDA/UNITY Awards dinner at Grand Hyatt New York and organized award presenter logistics (major network news anchors and reporters).Successes included building a sponsorship program with initial revenue of $75,000 with increased revenue of 33% in second year.
