Hello! I am a motion designer, illustrator, and graphic designer with ten years of experience designing, illustrating, and animating for brands and digital content.I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University, with minors in Architecture and Painting. I got my start as an intern in 2014 at Frederator in New York City, the company that created Adventure Time, Fairly Odd Parents, and Bee and Puppycat. I contributed animations and designs for and helped manage social media posts. Then from 2015-2018, I worked on the Creative team at BuzzFeed in New York, designing, illustrating, and animating for sponsored native and social media content with many different brands including Amazon, Twix, US Bank, Svedka, Geico, Sensodyne, Australian Avocados, Quicken Loans, ABC, King’s Hawaiian, L’Oreal, adidas, Comedy Central, and more. My freelance motion design work includes designing and animating social media videos and other web-based assets for a get-out-the-vote campaign, which successfully flipped local representation in some districts from red to blue. In 2021 I worked as a motion designer at Some Spider Studios based in NYC, which was later acquired by Bustle Digital Group, also based in NYC. I animated and designed original and shared Snapchat templates for Scary Mommy and Elite Daily’s monetized Snapchat Discover channels that were published almost daily. I also worked with the Design Team animating design elements and templates on co-branded video ads that Scary Mommy produced with Walmart+, Dr. Browns, and Poise. I am currently working as a freelancer based out of Washington, DC and will be open to future freelance motion design work starting in January 2025.
