Mentoring first year Montessori guide in a new classroom of first year children (ages 2.5-3.5).

Ecole Montessori Casablanca is the first Montessori School, and currently the only AMI recognized school in Morocco. The school has three toddler environments (1-3), three Primary classrooms (3-6), an Elementary classroom (6-12) and a French speaking language specialist and an Arabic speaking language specialist. The school is starting its 6th year and the Directress, Aicha Sajid, has begun an Association to help other Montessori schools gain accreditation. The main goal of the Association Montessori in Morocco is to help Montessori reach the most vulnerable families and children of the population and is partnering with UNICEF to help Montessori enter the public school environments. EMC also supports the local orphanage, which has received donations from Susan Stephenson and other Montessorians who have visited the school. EMC is working toward creating a training center here, as the teachers must be trained abroad and are coming from the US, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Great Britain, and France. The Moroccan assistants are trained by trainers coming from abroad (currently the Trainer is from Palestine) to train and advise in the classrooms.

To assist in Primary, (ages 3-6) Lower Elementary, (ages 7-9), and Upper Elementary classrooms, (ages 10-13) when either the Lead Guide or Assistant are absent. I also filled the position of permanent full time assistant in the Salamander Room when Lead Guide took her Maternity Leave of Absence in March of 2016 through the last day of school, June 15th, 2016.

To teach the French language through music(by French composer Alain le Lait) and traditional French songs in an after school program in the Primary classroom (ages 3-6).

I tutored groups of 3 to 7 elementary school children in the after-school programs at four elementary schools, teaching both reading and math. I also worked one-on-one with K-8 students in-home in both reading and math.

I was a substitute assistant teacher in the Public Preschool Program classrooms.

As a trained Montessori Primary Guide, I mentored a Lead Guide in-training for the Salem/Keizer Spanish Immersion Montessori program.

I assisted the Lead Guide in an AMI-accredited school, Montessori Primary classroom (ages 3-6).

Instructional Assistant at an Alternative High School in Salem, Oregon called The 21st Century Schoolhouse. I also assisted in an after school video program for the students at this school, helping them write scripts, act, direct and film short videos.

Assistant Manager and supervisor in charge of staff during evening showings of films. Nightly accounting of ticket sales and promotions and coupons. Projectionist in charge of lacing up the film onto the projector and starting the film on time in each of the four auditoria.

Assistant Manager of the operations of a French movie theater. Supervising staff during movie showings, ticket sales, nightly accounting, balancing cash drawer, and closing of theater.

Teaching English to small groups of 10-15 French students in third through sixth grade classes. Researching and creating innovative lesson plans, examinations, activities and grading system in classes that did not have English textbooks. Creating motivational, original games by using my own materials.

Team teaching English to Japanese students in fourth through sixth grade classes. Researching and creating lesson plans, activities and games with Japanese English teachers. Participating in after school activities such as orchestra practice.
