I have a colorful background with stories to tell. From working in the entertainment industry when everything changed on 9/11/2001, as a member of the talent department at the Latin Grammy's on the day, and being a Head Page on the set of the "Friends" sitcom, to working in the home loan/mortgage industry as a funding supervisor for Countrywide Home Loans when the market crashed in 2008. After that was my time in environmental consulting as a project manager assistant working with oil and gas companies when the BP oil spill of 2010 occurred and most recently working in the election industry through the 2016 and 2020 federal elections as the HR Manager and Travel Manager - the election industry does not stop so being an HR office of one and the person in charge of safe travel made the Coronavirus pandemic and the November 2020 a major learning experience. I have learned to figure it out as needed including the best way to get Braille marketing items, how to do office interior design with minimal instructions, rebranding a company, implementing new payroll software and writing the employee handbook and policies for the Vietnamese office. I enjoy the challenge of learning not only how to get the new task done, but how to do it correctly with a professional look and tone. Here's to more learning opportunities and stories to tell.
