I co-run this beautiful nonprofit organization with my mother. We provide daily activities in our community center along with a multitude of places in the community! We focus on the importance of daily living skills and encourage our members to be as independent as they possibly can be. Every day is never the same, but you can always count on the joy you’ll experience!! 😃

I work as a one on one aide in the multiple disabled classroom. I work on daily living skills and every day skills in the classroom. The environment is great and the staff is so supportive and encouraging.

This year I am working in a kindergarten class as a classroom aide. I get to assist the teacher in all the classroom activities and assignments. I even go with the students to their gym and art classrooms. I assist during lunch and recess duty as well. In there I make sure all the students are eating their own lunches, cleaning up after themselves and lining up for recess. On the playground I make sure they are playing safely and having fun! Kindergarten is a great experience, I leave everyday with a smile and actually feel a little tired. :)Last year I was an instructional aide. I assisted three different students in two of their classes at the end of the day. I helped them focus on their tasks if they got distracted. Any questions they had, I would assist them with the best answer or solution I could give them. I also helped the teacher with whatever needed to be done. If other children asked questions and she was busy, I would assist them as well. I also had lunch and recess duty where I kept an eye on the children making sure they were playing safe and no one got injured.
