As a tunnel project engineer at JW Fowler, I have operated on large-scale tunneling jobs in Southern California, aiding management in shaft construction, tunnel construction, and large pipeline installation. I can safely operate on busy construction sites, and am able to communicate with operations and clients to get the job done right and in a timely manner. I am a highly organized individual, and I do well in a team setting or on my own. I have collaborated on multiple projects in both the preliminary and construction phases through planning, field work, project management, and final closeout.As a field engineer at Harrison Western, I have traveled to multiple mining and construction operations around the United States to aid in quality control in high level projects. I have been part of the team in underground and surface mining jobs, involving blasting, installation of ground control, concrete/shotcrete/grouting installations, and much more. As a staff engineer at STRATA Geotech, I have gained experience on construction projects throughout the Inland Pacific Northwest. This included quality control and quality assurance for material testing, as well as assisting Principal Engineers in design, planning, and execution of high-level geotechnical projects. I have experience as a geology intern in an open-pit mine setting in my beautiful home town of Butte, Montana, and have thus gained important knowledge and respect of the mining industry through a geotechnical perspective. As a geological engineering student at Montana Technological University, I have had the opportunity to partake in advanced courses in order to specialize my degree in geotechnical engineering. I have taken degree-related classes such as numerical modeling, soil mechanics, machine learning, hydrogeology, and acid rock drainage, as well as computer classes like AutoCAD, MATLAB, Microsoft Excel, SOLIDWORKS, and ArcGIS.
