Completed 7 weeks basic training over the summer of 2016-2017. Maintain a part-time commitment to training with Wellington Company. Was tested in high-pressure situations that rely on teamwork to achieve success. Learned about the importance of confidence and willingness to tackle difficult tasks.

2019 - Building on my experience from 2018, I currently tutor INFO226 Application Development. In comparison, INFO226 has a broader scope; a greater focus on full-stack development and delivery using agile methodologies. I thoroughly enjoyed tutoring INFO151 Databases and found that, through helping other students, I gained a much greater appreciation of the course content. In INFO226, I hope to continue that trend and learn through the students that I am tutoring.2018 - Presenting and assisting students in workshops for INFO151 Databases. This was my first exposure to tutoring and it gave me the opportunity to become comfortable presenting and delivering course content. What I learned very quickly is that you can always be better. Every tutorial I tried to capitalise on that idea and improve my delivery. Overall, it was an excellent experience and encouraged me to come back in 2019 to tutor again.

At Deloitte, I had the opportunity to be fully deployed in an ongoing client engagement. I assisted in process design, requirements gathering and testing for the Service Now platform at Inland Revenue. As an internship experience, I valued how my project team enabled me to contribute in a meaningful way. By the end of my time at Deloitte, I felt I had been challenged, supported, and encouraged to pursue my career goals.

Over the summer, I was the Project Management Intern at The Treasury. I was given the opportunity to explore both the Project Management and Business Analysis fields. It was a valuable experience that allowed me to engage with a variety of stakeholders and align my studies to value-adding tasks in the IT industry.
