-Supervise 11 Workforce Development and Continuing Education staff members; Areas supervised include: Open Enrollment, Workforce Development, Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, Career Services and other related grant programs-Provide direction, leadership, and evaluation of the development of programs to meet the identified educational, economic, competitive, and cultural needs of the local businesses, organizations and community.-Works with regional partners including Broome-Tioga Workforce, Broome-Tioga BOCES, Alliance for Manufacturing and Technology, Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and others to identify and develop workforce development programs to train workers for local job openings.-Manages all related cost centers and related grant budgets associated with programs. Prepares, tracks, monitors and adheres to an annual budget; creates cost projections for all activities, programs and courses.-Oversees, recruitment, orientation, evaluation and support services for all personnel in teaching non-credit, workforce, and entrepreneurial programs-Works with the marketing department to develop and evaluate a comprehensive marketing program to promote the activities of SUNY Broome's Workforce Development & Continuing Education Office-Works in collaboration with Academic Affairs divisions and departments to identify non-credit to credit pathways and non-degree programs -Manages apprenticeship programs and coordinates with Academic Affairs to align credit programs with industry needs for apprenticeship related instruction-Launched the Hornet Academy and Hornet Institute, initiaves aimed at exposing area K-12 students to careers related to SUNY Broome programs-Manage over $5 million spanning over 30 grant projects-Support the planning of career exploration events in collaboration with area school districts -Coordinates SUNY Broome’s Microcredential program-Co-chair of the Credit for Prior Learning workgroup

-Responsible for the successful management and effective implementation of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program (GBEOP) workforce development initiatives and programs-Serve as Executive Director of the Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program (GBEOP)-Increased GBEOP’s reach to students, teachers, businesses and other individuals by 380% since the 2016-17 school year-Coordinated with SUNY Broome Community College, Broome Tioga BOCES, Broome Tioga Workforce, and local businesses to host the first 8th grade career exploration fair, SPARK, which drew nearly 2,000 students from the community-Engage with region’s K-12 and college partners to promote career education, share employer-training needs for their workforce, and provide data on projected growth occupations and industries-Facilitate the Broome & Tioga Talent Task Force-Foster and facilitate relationships between businesses, educators, and students in Broome County through strategically developed programs -Partner with area school districts to host career exploration evening events which are geared at exposing students and their families to careers in Greater Binghamton-Manage the Broome Leadership Institute with 20 participants annually-Coordinate the annual high school business pitch, Launch Pad: The Greater Binghamton Start-up Challenge in conjunction with Modern Marketing & Commerce-Partner with Junior Achievement to offer programs to our K-12 schools that focus on career exploration, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy-Developed an extensive K-12 career exploration plan, PEAK, which will be rolled out in area schools-Provide oversight to develop and enhance young professional programming through the YP Alliance, HYPE Awards, YP Summit, and Bing Connect-Present workforce data to middle and high school students-Manage a multi-year grant for $235,000 for workforce development-Identify, develop, and coordinate volunteers for programs

-Integrate student experiences at internship sites with academics-Address relevant professional and career development issues pertaining to the nature of the internship experience through journaling, assignments, research papers and class presentations and peer feedback

Harpur Edge connects Harpur College students with resources outside the classroom including special Edge initiatives, other campus programs and alumni to help them take charge of their liberal arts education. Creating opportunities for success, Harpur Edge provides students with a jump-start on their future. -Assisted with development and implementation of Harpur Edge and Harpur College sponsored programs -Coordinated Liberal Arts to Careers Externship (LACE) program: LACE is an exciting program that provides a select group of Harpur College students the opportunity to explore career options and gain insight into the realities of the workplace. Selected students are matched with a professional (Harpur Alumna/us) for a shadowing experience at the sponsor’s workplace during winter or summer break-Liaised and collaborated with campus partner offices to promote Harpur Edge and help Harpur College students connect with those resources-Implemented Harpur Edge Distance Mentoring for current students and alumni-Reviewed feedback on programs to make improvements-Presented to diverse audiences, including freshman orientation, transfer students, and parent programs-Assist edin planning of Binghamton in the City: A Week of Connections including employer site visits and Metro Connections Night-Participated in a committee for the NEH Next Generation PhD implementation grant-Collaborated with faculty in Harpur College to provide relevant programming for their departments-Trained student staff on our programs and office procedures

-Developed and presented educational programs for school groups and the general public-Interacted with teachers and community group leaders to schedule visits-Led the museum’s Teacher Advisory Board comprised of area school teachers-Hired and trained education staff of 12 and various college interns to deliver educational programs-Managed visitor services staff of five-Coordinated over 100 college volunteers and interns per semester within different departments of the museum-Interacted with community organizations to form partnerships and plan events-Increased school visit traffic by 28% in 2014-2015 school year from the previous school year-Reestablished Girl Scout programming-Oversaw the digital planetarium and assisted with show development based on educational needs-Collaborated with representatives at the Office of Cultural Education in Albany-Researched topics and content for exhibitions by reaching out to experts and developing surveys-Wrote exhibition text for "Journey from our Prehistoric Past"-Planned the first regional "Uncommon Approaches to the Common Core" conference for educators-Organized school visits for over 800 students in a two day period during the traveling exhibition of "Abraham Lincoln’s Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation"-Assisted in the planning of special events, such as Wine and Food Fest, RoberCon, Home for the Holidays, and coordinated the volunteers for these events-Provided input and content for grant submissions-Maintained the gift shop including purchasing, merchandising, inventory, and product research-Increased gift shop sales by 5% over a two year period-Utilized QuickBooks Point of Sale to streamline procedures -Developed training materials for front desk employees
