I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University in 2010. I attended Florida State University's College of Law and graduated in 2014. During my time at FSU Law School, I participated as a both a Legal Intern and a Certified Legal Intern practicing criminal defense with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel. I also received a certificate in International Human Rights Law. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014, I began working full-time with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel as an Assistant Regional Counsel in their Broward County Trial Division. I have defended a wide variety of criminal cases in the juvenile, felony, and domestic violence courts, providing my clients with vigorous advocacy and exceptional legal advice. While working as a trial lawyer in Broward County I tried several criminal cases to verdict, both bench and jury trials. I am currently assigned to the Appellate Division where I handle all types of criminal and dependency cases on direct appeal in the 4th DCA. I am also a member of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and currently sit on the Board of Directors.
