During my time as a teaching assistant, I co-taught two undergraduate courses - Homeboy Histories and Culture & Painting Genres: Knowing Images, and one graduate course - Critical Theory and Practice. I developed lesson plans in collaboration with the lead instructor, organized and oversaw discussions within small breakout groups, advised students in essay writing and evaluated and graded students work. During studio time, I helped to facilitate class critique and coached students through their creative processes.

I fostered a fun, welcoming, and motivating environment conducive for learning with easy to follow, step by step instruction - Inspiring students to return each week and continue their artistic endeavors. Alongside being one of the lead instructors, I also managed day to day studio operations, retail sales, and bar-backing duties.
