I have always been creative. I loved writing stories in grade school, painting and drawing art, and even created and edited some short videos for fun. I enjoy learning history in my free time as well, including fashion, beauty standards, music, art, and film history. I also enjoy learning in general, and believe that there is always something to learn and understand. During my time at UCM, I've been able to refine a lot of my skills, and have used many different applications, such as Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, FadeIn, and Photoshop. I have also gained experience during my two practicums on the UCM campus: first, editing and creating lecture videos for professors at the Center for Teaching and Learning Studio; second, script writing for a short documentary and collaborating with a small group of colleagues to create videos for KMOS-TV. I know that working in a career where creating and storytelling is valued is what I am meant to do in this lifetime. I am constantly striving to improve my skillset and share my passion. I hope to find a career that challenges me creatively, and lets me experience the world through a bigger lens.
