I am an educator. My role within higher education allows me to foster an environment that directly supports the educational experience of students and, ideally, aids their transition from an educational community to whatever world awaits them after college. While every day is different, I enjoy that my work never feels mundane or robotic. I have the amazing opportunity to learn from my students and allow them to transform me each semester as well. My favorite part of my job is watching students develop and grow over time, then reflecting on that change with them. Philosophically, I believe that self-awareness is one of the biggest factors in a person's success. Most of my educational workshops and trainings focus on individual identity development and how individuals can contribute to their communities.
