Verde is a Chicago start-up with the very powerful mission to lower energy usage in small to medium sized businesses.-Runs the day-to-day operations of the entire company and manages a team of fifteen.-Has helped the company double in size every year since joining the team.-Responsible for the inventory, product management, ordering, and overall logistics of the company.-Manages accounts receivable and payable, while managing the utility rebate program paperwork and invoicing.-Schedules and oversees every project the company touches from the time the project is sold to the time it is paid and closed.-Implemented the company’s first inventory and warehousing system.-Effectively manages wearing multiple hats in a chaotic start-up culture, while meeting demanding deadlines.-Constantly works with the operations team to assess the company’s processes, analyze the current issues, define the company’s needs, and develop strategies to improve upon these criteria.-Provides quality control and assurance to the various teams within the company, as well as our clients.-Member of the Senior Leadership Team

After the release of Pope Francis' Papal Encyclical, Laudato Si', the Archdiocese of Chicago recruited students from each local University to organize a campus-wide event celebrating and enforcing the major themes and teachings of the Catholic Church's newest document.- Creatively planned a large, campus-wide event at DePaul University by representing the Archdiocese of Chicago to student run campus-wide organizations.- Managed event volunteers and multiple campus organizations.- Implemented a successful social media campaign throughout multiple platforms.

During the summer of 2013, The Forest Preserve District of Cook County created the 'Citizen Scientist in Action!' pilot program, in which I worked closely with the FPDCC outreach team and naturalists to implement.- Mentored and taught 200 underprivileged teenagers, while fostering collaboration and teamwork among them.- Inspired and motivated young adults in a field that was completely foreign to them.- Trained dozens of teachers on the program’s online platform, as well as how to implement environmental themes into their classrooms.- Flexibly adapted to and learned to analyze the needs of my audience.- Developed education lessons based on state and nationwide education standards.- Effectively organized and logged work site information into the FPDCC database.

Friends of the Chicago River is a non-profit in Chicago well-known for their advocacy of the Chicago River and its native species and ecosystems. I worked closely with their outreach time for a seasonal, part time internship.- Taught macroinvertabrate sampling, water chemistry, and invasive species removal field trips to students of all ages.- Communicated powerfully, confidently, and broadly to motivate and inspire field trips of sixty students alone.- Presented ideas and lessons in a clear, effective manner while stimulating constant group discussion and strategic thinking.
