Danielle set herself apart in fast paced large market newsrooms where the quality of her stories was not compromised by length or stringent deadlines. At Media General, Danielle served as interim bureau chief and created the bureau’s coverageplans. While at WUSA, she shot, edited, and produced packages for the anchors. Before moving to the East Coast, Danielle lived in Phoenix. In Phoenix, Danielle shot and edited daily news for KTVK—a top rated independent TV station.After KTVK, Danielle was the lead photographer for Maricopa Colleges Television(MCTV), a channel that highlighted the students and achievements of the Maricopa CountyCommunity College system. Danielle began her news career as a news photographer for KTVNin Reno. Danielle serves as the vice chair for the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Visual Task Force. She was elected to the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) Board of Directors in 2021. Danielle is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan and loyal New York Knicks fan.
